On-site filtration test
In order to offer the correct filtration system, the filtration properties of the liquid must be known. To measure this, a filtration test unit has been developed. Together with an accurate scale with high-frequency data output, a data sampler with logger function and custom-written software, it is possible to perform a very accurate measurement.
The unit is designed to perform the test at the production location, after which the data can be analyzed immediately. The result of the test initially answers the question of whether the liquid presented can be separated from the solid parts at all using a back-pulse filtration system. If the answer is positive, the result of the test is the basis for dimensioning the suitable back-pulse filtration system. A filtration protocol can also be drawn up, in which the starting parameters for the BPF-D system are recorded. A back pulse filter BPF-D is a very efficient and robust industrial filter, the principle of which is based on cake filtration. The filtrate is clear and the residue remains in the form of a 'dry cake'.
